Century III Posts Animated Promos For Cartoon Network

Promos for the cartoon series "Valley of the Dinosaurs" and "Plastic Man" were recently produced at Century III at Universal Studios Florida. Working with independent producer Karim Miteff for Turner Broadcasting's The Cartoon Network, Century III's graphics, editing and audio departments brought the highly dynamic animated spots to life.

Key frames from each of the two scenes were captured on the Abekas A62 digital disk recorder and used to create custom Paintbox cells. Editor Oliver Peters composited all elements over original backgrounds and edited the final 30 minute and 15 minute promos to D2, using the Grass Valley Group Kaleidoscope and its KurlŪ effects extensively in the animation process.

Century III at Universal Studios Florida is the Southeast's most complete post-production facility, offering customized production packages, a state-of-the-art image motion control stage and camera and comprehensive digital graphics, audio and satellite services.
