NIGHT FORCE is a supernatural action adventure series that pits the talents and abilities of three extra-ordinary humans against the forces of evil and the mystery and danger of the unknown: Jonathan Kane, a well-known, but mysterious writer of popular horror and fiction; Ed Murdock, Jonathan's cocky chauffeur and self-appointed bodyguard; and Chow Kim, a wise old gentleman who often acts as mentor and irritant to the other two. The world these men operate in is different than the one we are accustomed to. They have chosen to devote their lives to challenging the threat of the supernatural, each for their own reasons. Using the vast fortune amassed by Jonathan, they are able to finance these exploits, and acquire the tools and items they need to fight and protect themselves and others from the creatures of darkness. The world of NIGHT FORCE is much like our own, except many of the horrors and terrors we dismiss for superstition and myth are real, although this is not known to the general populace. This creates a fascinating backdrop for our characters: a world which is familiar to us, yet with a frighteningly dangerous undercurrent. The adventures of the Night Force Team can range from the exciting thrills of an engaging detective story, as in "Magnum P.I.", to the unmitigated horror of "Night of The Living Dead." While the show will appeal to the same audience of horror fans that are attracted to Stephen King novels and movies, it is also designed to appeal to the broad audience that enjoys action-adventure entertainment.
